# How Instructors Track Progress

> Understand how course progress is monitored.

If your course is delivered by an instructor, they can monitor your progress through the platform.

They can see:

* course completion status
* lesson progress
* certificates issued

There is no need to notify your instructor when you complete a course unless requested.
